One such annual event is Balakalakaar, initiated in 2009. Balakalakaar is modeled around the central idea of organizing talent discovery workshops for overall creative development for underprivileged children in the age group of 8-12 years. This event brings together talented individuals and professionals who help these children discover hidden talents. Last year, Balakalakaar was organized in Mumbai for around 1000 children where painting and dance were explored as art forms among these children.

This year, Balakalkaar 2012, is bigger and aims to reach out to over 8000 underprivileged children in Mumbai and help them explore their talent through Arts and Sports. With an army of volunteers and professionals, Balakalakaar 2012 hopes to expose a whole new world of opportunity to these children. To kick start Balakalakaar 2012, they organized a fun event called Entertainment For A Cause where stand up comedians performed and money raised was used for the cause. More recently on 15th December they organised Sports For A Cause, where teams from AIESEC Mumbai took on teams from Premier Indian Football Association to support the cause of Balakalakaar 2012.
