Welcome spring! If you think food is the best way to celebrate any occasion, here’s a reason to rejoice. Ziya, at The Oberoi, Mumbai will celebrate Spring Fling from 6th to 11th March 2013 with a new menu by Chef Vineet Bhatia.

About Spring Fling
Ziya is a modern Indian restaurant at the Oberoi, Mumbai serving dishes that represent a modern interpretation of traditional Indian cuisine. To welcome spring, Ziya will be introducing a new, light-hearted menu designed by Chef Vineet Bhatia, twice Michelin starred Chef.

The New Menu
Spring Fling will be delight for both non vegetarian and vegetarian foodies. Here’s the sneak peek of their new menu :
Non-vegetarian: Coriander fish tikka accompanied with beetroot-channa dal upma, asparagus korma and roti strands; Spring chicken achar roast and lemon-pudina khichdi with Braised chicken, preserved lemons, spinach and spring onion Chenna chutney; and Coconut crusted lamb chop with apple gojju, Pulled Raan Bakharkhani calzone and Malabari lamb sauce.

Vegetarian: Sesame-Coriander cauliflower tikka with beetroot-channa dal upma, asparagus korma and roti strands, Achari bharwan aloo and lemon-pudina khichdi with Moong dal and preserved lemons, spinach and spring onion Chenna chutney, Coconut cheese artichoke baked with saunf aubergine tadka and paneer-sundried tomato Bakharkhani calzone.

Also worth trying out will be the unique sounding desserts like Strawberry phirni with white chocolate pink peppercorn disc, Kiwi pineapple cubes, caramelised popcorn rabdi and toasted almond dust.
