At MumbaiMag, we are always looking for ways to interact with our readers and involve them in our discovery of Mumbai. Readers Write has been one initiative in this direction and we love the stories you are sending us. As we approach a small but significant milestone of 3000 fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter alike, we decided to go a step further and make our readers a part of the MumbaiMag team.

We recently celebrated MumbaiMag’s first birthday.
Yes, you did not hear about it because we were working heads down on a new and refreshed version of the blogazine we have planned for you (more on that soon) but we did decide on a few celebrations for you, our readers.

Welcome to Grub Lane
Over the last year, food has been by far the most popular section on MumbaiMag. Readers have enjoyed our regular foodie column, Food Bytes, and often written to us about how they appreciate Raul’s critiques as much as his sense of humour. So, we are giving MumbaiMag readers a chance to join our food columnist Raul Dias on a food reviews across Mumbai’s restaurants. And that that’s not all. Not only will you share the bread, so to say, but also the blog post. Your views and review will be part of the Grub Lane blog post that we publish on MumbaiMag.

To begin with, one reader can join Raul on Sunday, 21st July evening at Keys Hotel to review their Kerela Food Festival. This food festival will bring to you gastronomic delights like the Chemmeen Campbell, the classic Kappayerachi (cooked Tapioca and beef are simmered in a paste of fried coconut and spices), Varatharacha Meen Curry (Fish Curry cooked in fried coconut) for the non vegetarians and Sadyavattam (Festive vegetable preparation from Kerala), traditional Pavakka Pachadi (a traditional Kerala khichadi made by using coconut and yogurt), Karamani Thoran, Pookose Masala and more for vegetarians. The  Puzhukku (lentil and vegetable medley with coconut) made by Keys chef is a must try we hear. Would you like to join us on this South Indian food adventure?

Participate now and win!
