Bandra is one place in Mumbai where most of the things are available at walking distance. Whether you want to grab a cuppa coffee, a book, nice lazy lunch and a movie or just catch up with friends over a drink. Loads of eating out places like Candies, Hearsh Bakery, A-1 Bakery, Toto’s, JATC which is now EATC, Janta have stood tall since many years and add to what Bandra is all about. Even the not so old Salt Water Cafe, Basilico, Yogurt Bay, Out of the Blue and Bagel Shop have kind of made it unnecessary for Bandraites to look any further for delicious eats. And we now have four more additions to this great food hub of Mumbai!

Le 15 Patisserie
Known for its colourful macaroons, Le 15 made loads of fans in the suburbs despite being located in Lower Parel for long. This time around Pooja Dhingra, ‘The Macaroon lady’ decided to open up a cozy little pink cafe where their menu would not only include Le 15’s regular treats but also loads of new additions. Their new menu has the old favourite macarons – passion fruit, dark chocolate, salted caramel, paan flavours, cupcakes – red velvet, vanilla, belgian chocolate but also has quite a few newbies like green tea tarts, jars of happiness (red velvet in a jar), red velvet with belgian chocolate, lemon zest cupcakes, dark chocolate mint macarons and green tea cookies. The pink and white cafe is soon going to start serving coffee and also free wi-fi! So go on enjoy your favourite sweet treat at their outside seating area surrounded by the vintage-y white fence.
Where: Le 15, ground floor, Siffin Apartments, next to Mela, Dr Ambedkar Road, Bandra (W)

Between Breads
Between Breads

Between Breads
A tiny eatery where you sit between walls designed to appear at burgers which serves up hot burgers, bacon fries and has Archies comics is worth a visit we say! Their menu has loads of beef, chicken, egg and veggie burger options, hotdogs and also sandwiches. This place is truly not for the calorie watchers because they are generous with their meat, bacon bits in fries and jalapeño cheese poppers in a veggie burger.
Where: 16th Road, Near Hawaiian Shack, Bandra West

SingKong
SingKong, started by the guy behind Sancho’s and Aurus, offers Pan Asian food with a twist. Their menu has sushi, dimsums, loads of starter options for veg and meat eaters, steamed buns, gravies, Thai curry, noodles, rice and no so Asian but delicious desserts. We recommend you try their SingKong martini which is a brilliant mix of expresso vodka, old monk, cream and sprinkle of cinnamon, sweet soft Steamed open buns, oriental shrimp nest, pandan leaf wrapped cottage cheese, celery garlic rice and super moist carrot cake with balsamic strawberries.
Where: Pinnacle House, 1st floor, PD Hinduja Marg, off Linking Road, above Sancho’s, Khar West.

The Big Burger
This Powai burger joint opened up their new branch in Bandra few weeks back and have been serving piping hot burgers from a red bus near the Cafe Coffee day at Carter Road. If you wish that your burger had some more spice or tang other than the classic ketchup and mustard combo then The Big Burger does meet those needs. They serve burgers with a desi twist, like the chatpata burger with tamarind sauce or the desi with mint sauce. Their menu has veggie, chicken and mutton burger patty options with prices ranging from Rs.80 for the veg chatpata burger to Rs.210 for the Big Burger Special (2 portions of meat plus cheese).
Where:A/10, Gaganiri Apts, off Carter Road, next to Yoforia, Bandra West.
