Mumbai will see the launch of two new vegetarian restaurants tomorrow, both specialising in Indian food with a twist. Panayaa, aims to be a "progressive Indian Restaurant" with a twist. The Panayaa menu is a testimony to reinvention of desi gourmet with out of the box culinary experiments. From molecular gastronomy to the regional Indian cuisine Panayaa hopes to capture the flavours of the country. Decorated in the traditional Indian palatial style, the 6000 sq. ft. eatery will start serving over 20 signature dishes. Expect to see names like Dhokla Oxycide and Dal Khichdi Arancini. Where: Plot no. 25, Raghuvanshi Mill Compound, Lower Parel 29 (twenty nine), serving 29 edgy flavours from 29 states of India. A vegetarian eatery, 29 hopes to take guests down India’s culinary memory lane where Mumbaikars can celebrate India’s regional heritage with diverse regional cuisines.
