If you are a dog lover and pet parent like me, you know there is no end to how much we love pampering our little furry babies. A treat or a new toy that keeps them happy and busy is always welcome. MumbaiMag had written about Heads Up For Tails, a dog supplies online store, sometime ago and when they recently asked me to review their new launch the Wag Box, I decided to give it a try. As subscription boxes are gaining popularity in India, Heads Up For Tails has launched their version of the monthly doggie subscription pack called the Wag Box. How the Wag Box subscription works, is simple. Heads Up For Tails asks customers to fill up a form with details about the pet like breed, age, gender, any food preferences like vegetarian or non-vegetarian and what kind of toys or apparel the pet would enjoy. Add the address and payment details and you can subscribe. At Rs 1500/3000 per month or Rs 4050/15300 for three months you will receive a monthly surprise of goodies for your dog. The details gathered in the form are used to send customised Wag Boxes to pets. For the review, I filled up the form with Thor's (my year old Labrador) preferences and promptly received my Wag Box. The pack came neatly wrapped in a little ribbon which when undone revealed fun treats and toys for him. A Rs1500 wag box included- three food items, an apparel item and a toy. The treats included Cheese biscuits, Oat Bone and Spinach chewy treats. Thor enjoyed all the treats, but I guess that a lab thing, no? Jokes apart, the treats were from reputed manufacturers and it was great to note that they remembered his meal preference and all food items were strictly vegetarian. Another thing I appreciate was that the box included small (200-250 grams) packets of each food item instead of one large packet of a single food item; adds variety and avoids wastage in case the pet rejects a certain food item. Thor relished all the treats. The Oat bone is a good calcium supplement and the Spinach treat is perfect for indoor training. The Cheese biscuits are great as training treats when we take him to the park and teach him a new command. The Doggie bandana has a cool - 'DROOL IS COOL' slogan that Thor loves flaunting on his play dates. The Kong toy from the wag box is also of very good quality and keeps Thor busy for hours when filled with chilled peanut butter. Every item from the wag box was loved by my dog and I found it to be VFM. So if you are looking to spoil your dog silly, look no further.
