Try your hand at creating and cooking burgers from different meats as Woodside Inn. The popular neighbourhood diner is hosting its annual Beer & Burger Festival with a Burger Making Class held in association with Comida – The Kitchen. Chefs at Woodside Inn will teach participants about burger making, help them shape their burgers, season their meat and also cook them to perfection! One can also learn how to match different garnishes with different meats. This is the second Beer & Burger Festival hosted by Woodside Inn and will feature the Mexican Beef Burger and a Chicken Teriyaki Burger as part of this year’s festival menu. The festival begins on July 15 and ends on July 31.

The American Center will be screening Madagascar, a movie for children and their parents. NCPA is organizing a Festival of Legendary Indian Composers called NCPA Bandish. With an aim of creating awareness on Indian music and its rhythmic compositions, this festival will showcase some of the treasured works of the great composers presented by eminent artistes. The fourth edition of the festival will showcase works of Shrikrishna Ratanjankar (Sujan) presented by Malini Rajurkar and Vilayat Khan (Pran Piya) and Gajananbuwa Joshi presented by Ulhas Kashalkar on July 13th and Barkat Ali Khan and Bade Ghulam Ali Khan (Sabrang) presented by Kaushiki Chakrabarty and Binadin Maharaj presented by Birju Maharaj on July 14th. Join a cooking class with Chef Will Bowlby of Cheval and learn how to make a gourmet four course meal. The menu features options like pumpkin soup, quinoa salad, risotto and chocolate mousse.
