Watch a beautiful sunset and gaze stars atop a historical Tikona Fort near Lonavala. Jumpstart tour has organized a night trek and star gazing this weekend. You will learn how to set up a camp on outdoors along with session on star gazing. The bus is arranged from SGNP, Borivali and will have pick up points at various places till Vashi. Tea, dinner, breakfast and lunch will be provided by them.

Enjoy foot-tapping South African numbers this weekend with Nothembi Mkhwebane, a famous singer from South Africa. The concert will be organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Nothembi will be performing a music of the native Ndebele community of South Africa which consists of choral compositions, leg rattling and African instruments. Along with isikumero (mouth bow) and iingubhe (African drum), she will be playing guitar at this concert.

This will be a complete experience with shopping, food, drinks and music with lineup of designers like The Peacock Plume, Vivat, Bath and Adie. Each exhibitor will be showcasing a variety of clothes, bath products, clutches, cocktail jewellery, homemade organic products and more during this two day fiesta.

Give your eyes an arty treat this weekend. Homelands exhibition will be open in Mumbai this weekend showcasing works of 28 leading artists around the world. Homelands is an unique take on contemporary British art by the curator Latika Gupta. This exhibition will be held in four cities across India displaying works of artists like Angus Boulton, Fabien Cappello, Lisa Cheung, Nathan Coley, Jeremy Deller, Suki Dhanda and more.

The Vintage Garden in Bandra’s famous Patkar House will have its first pop-up event this weekend featuring a fun mix of designers including Shahid Datawala, Suhani Pittie, Fluke Design, DBrain Clothing Co, Twist by Bambi & Ana and more. A former stylist and freelance event organiser with Fashion Week, Aarti Patkar wants to use the 1,800 square feet courtyard behind her house to promote design and creativity. This Saturday, Dharavi Rocks, the music education project run by the Acorn Foundation for slum kids, Mohan and Koco from Hindi rock band Agnee and another Hindi rock band Sparsh, will perform live at Hanging gardens as a part of Bandstand Revival gigs. Bandstand Revival project is all about bringing back of Mumbai’s rich bandstand culture to the locals. All their show are open-air shows and entry is free.

Blueberry Trails, an offbeat event planner will be hosting its second episode of Music in the Great Outdoors with Sky Rabbit, a four-member Alternative/Electronica band from Mumbai. This musical trail will be held at Kashid. It will include stay in tents, a bonfire and a DIY barbecue at night. You can also take a dip in thee sea or relax in the hammocks in the shade of Casuarinas lining Kashid beach.
