‘Arts in Motion Dance Studio’ is organizing a ‘Popping’ workshop’. Popping is a street dance form that originated in the African-American community in California. The technique calls for quickly contracting and relaxing muscles that results in a jerk in the dancer’s body; the jerk is referred to as pop, hence the name. The workshop will be 16 sessions long and will be conducted only on weekends.
